Field of Angels was organized and developed in Spring of 2010 to promote and support amateur youth sports and sporting events and activities and to promote sportsman-like competition for individuals with mental or physical conditions that prohibit safe participation in other leagues in the state of Alabama. Field of Angels gives these individuals the opportunity to get out in the sunshine and enjoy playing the game of baseball in its purest form.

We strive to connect each of our players with a buddy to promote long-lasting friendships outside of the baseball field while assisting them with hitting the ball and running the bases. Buddies can be fellow schoolmates, parents, college students, business leaders or anyone who wishes to volunteer their time to provide a player the opportunity to play baseball.

In addition to the community volunteers, we have had the honor of having several local celebrities, University Athletes and community service volunteers assist us in cheering on our teams each year. On any given Saturday you might see members of The University of Montevallo baseball team, The University of Alabama softball team, various Scout Troops and local high school baseball and cheer squads in the stands and on the field as each batter is announced and rounds the bases to a community cheering them on!

Field of Angels has been granted 501c3 nonprofit status by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations to the Field of Angels are tax-exempt as allowed by law.
